The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office has a new Unmanned Aerial Support (UAS) Unit.

Officers are trained and certified to fly Unmanned Aerial Systems (drones), which are a valuable resource in search and rescue efforts.  The Sheriff’s Office has two drones available for use at all times to aid in situations where visibility and terrain can present a challenge.
